Representatives Nomination

NCCU IMBA Alumni Association (IMBAA) Elections are back this year(2020). The schedule is as below, IMBA office will assist us to conduct the election via on-line Voting which is considering the geographic challenge.

<The Voting Rules>

 (1) All Alumni of the batch/entering years 2001 to 2017 are eligible to vote, disregarding of whether they have finished all the courses or their thesis. 

(2) To ensure that each Alumni voted only one time, only votes which provide their student ID number can be counted as eligible voters.  

(3) Your vote will only be able to identify via student ID (not by name) and will be only seen by IMBA office and not by other Alumni. 

 (4) Alumni can only vote for their own batch candidates. Example: If you are the year 2016 Alumni and therefore your student ID starts with 105 you can vote for 2016 batch candidates. 

(5) Alumni can only vote for up to two of the candidates of their own batch.   

<The Mode of Election> 

(1)  Each batch shall have 2 representatives to the IMBAA Board. If 1 or 2 candidates from a certain batch announce their candidacy, they will be automatically elected to the board. 

 (2)  If more than 2 candidates from a certain batch, the 2 candidates who receive the most votes from their fellow batch members will be elected to the board.  

(3)  If less than 2 candidates the available ‘spot’ will open to other batches. Under such circumstances, the candidates who receive most votes from their fellow batch members in relation to the total number of batch members (batches have a different amount of members) will be elected to the board.

 (4)  Last but not least, self-nominations are welcome. If you would like to become a candidate to the board, please fill out your name in the nomination.   

 The schedule is set as below, 

1. Nomination of 2 representatives from each batch (DONE) 

2. Election of 2 representatives from each batch (Before Mar 30)

3. Nomination of President candidates and announce names 14 days prior election. on the IMBA Alumni Association official web site and IMBA Alumni Association Facebook website. ( Before Apr. 7) 

4. All representatives meet and elect President, the Secretary, the treasurer, and other officers afterwards. (Before Apr. 30)

5. New President will form his or her new committees or recruit members with full membership if necessary. (Before May 15)
