Business Operations Analyst

  • Responsible for excess inventory analysis, mitigation and tracking
  • Produces reports and analyzes data to develop excess and obsolescence liability estimates and articulates findings to management.
  • Works with cross functional teams (ODM/Global Business Unit / Regional Business Unit) to initiate, track and resolve action to reduce excess inventory
  • Collaborates with ODM, regional and global business unit planning teams to maintain and enhance current business processes.
  • Reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Communicates actions and requirements to the regional and global business unit planning teams.
  • Creates professional and informative powerpoint presentations
  • Collaborates across regions and business units
  • Ability to influence an ODM, Global Business Unit and Regional Business Unit
  • Typically interacts with Managers.
  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative business models and analyses to contribute to large projects.

Basic Requirement

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience
  • Typically 2-4 years of experience in a supply chain function.
  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).
  • Strong analytical and data modeling skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and other analytical aids to help manage the operation. (Must be familiar with EXCEL.)
  • Developing Project Management Skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility
  • Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Developed understanding of import/export regulatory requirements and compliance
  • Moderate level of knowledge of inventory analysis
